Document accessibility

Document accessibility is about making digital documents—such as PDFs, Word files, and presentations—accessible to everyone. This means that everyone can perceive, understand, navigate, and interact with the content using assistive technologies.

Document accessibility also benefits people with disabilities—for example, users on mobile devices, individuals with temporary impairments or situational limitations, older adults, and those using limited or slower technology. Accessible documents improve usability and inclusivity for all.
